two kids, a big yard, and a closet full of art supplies.
I'm a 31 year old wife, mother, and artist. I live in the suburbs of Chicago with my family but my heart will always belong to Iowa.
I used to be a graphic designer and wear dresses and high heels everyday, now I stay home with the kids and wear converse low tops and threadless t-shirts.
Strengths: doodling funny creatures, cutting letters out of cardstock, cooking 5-7 healthy dinners every week without much effort, and picking things up with my toes while holding a baby.
Weaknesses: drinking coffee in the afternoon, never charging my cel phone, getting sucked into marathons of horrible MTV shows during naptime.
Likes: watching my kids play, brunch-style foods, art and fashion blogs, Fresh Air podcasts, weird plates from the thrift store.
Dislikes: horizontally or vertically scaled type (bad typography in general), raisins in baked goods, and when people complain about free stuff.
That about wraps it up. Do you know me and think I need to change this? Would you like to discuss bad typography at length? Just addicted to email? Send me a message at katielicht@gmail.com
